The Institute of Masters of Wine has appointed ten new members. This brings their number to now 380. Among them are the first winemaker from Spain as well as from Greece. The new Masters of Wine (MW) are:
Almudena Alberca (Spain), Barbara Drew, Thomas Parker, Tim Triptree and Regine Lee (UK), Olga Karapanou Crawford, Lindsay Pomeroy and Nicolas Quillé (all USA as well as Elsa Macdonald (Canada) and Job de Swart MW (Netherlands). They work as winemakers, wine merchants, in auction houses as well as lecturers.
