The Hospices de Beaune's traditional charity wine auction set a new record for proceeds. 631 barrels of red wine and 197 barrels of white wine were sold. They achieved a total turnover of 14.2 million euros. The 158th auction in Beaune yielded significantly more revenue than in the previous year. At that time, the turnover was 13.5 million euro.

The highest price was achieved by a Barrique Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru with 135,000 euros. The traditional auction of the "Pièce des Présidents" with one barrel each of Corton Clos du Roi Grand Cru and Meursault Les Genevrières Premier Cru brought in around 230,000 euros. The proceeds will go to selected aid projects for health and education.
