Two months before the opening of the Vinexpo wine fair in Bordeaux on 13 May, the number of exhibitors is expected to be significantly lower than last year. According to the French online magazine "Vitisphere", the organisers are currently hoping for around 2,000 suppliers, in 2018 it will be 2,300, but according to the report, there could be significantly fewer: Currently only 830 confirmed exhibitors are listed in the fair's directory, writes "Vitisphere". At present, the organisers are already planning to reduce the exhibition area considerably. According to the report, the small Hall 3 will not be used at all, the large Hall 1 will not be fully utilized and has also been reduced in size with a huge entrance area. The new Hall 2 will be used as a congress centre for a major symposium on climate change and viticulture on 14 May.
