The Niederberger group of companies in Neustadt with the vineyards of Buhl, von Winning and Bassermann-Jordan has bought 5 hectares of vineyards. This is reported by the "Weinwirtschaft". The plots in the Neustadt locations Haardter Bürgergarten, Haardter Mandelring and Haardter Herzog will be cultivated by the von Winning winery in Deidesheim with immediate effect. In some vineyards, such as Bürgergarten, the company already has larger areas available.
The plots of land taken over are from the Müller Erben winery in Neustadt. Mostly Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Blanc grow there. The grape varieties would fit perfectly into the portfolio, said estate manager Stephan Attmann.
