Under the motto "Become a Wine Discoverer", the German Wine Institute (DWI) is inviting tasting sessions and samples throughout Germany until 23 September. The highlight of the campaign is the "Open Wine Day", which is intended to arouse interest in German wine in ten major German cities with special activities.

For one day, around 130 wine shops and wine bars will be offering collections of three different wines that can be tasted for just five euros. In Berlin and Munich, over 20 wine shops are taking part in the campaign.

In addition, more than 200 wine dealers and vinotheques, restaurants and hotels throughout Germany will be presenting the diversity of German wines to connoisseurs with promotions and events. Information on all events and dates can be found on the website www.weinentdecker-werden.de. Wine lovers can use a search function to find the offers in their region.
