Château Latour today announced the launch of its current 2012 vintage. It should already be released in mid-March, but this was delayed by the Corona eruption. The price from Négociant is 390 euros, around 80 euros less than in 2011, and around 6,000 boxes should be available. At the same time, the second wine Les Forts de Latour 2014 will be released. It costs around 150 euros per bottle and is thus also significantly cheaper than vintage 2013. Retail prices are likely to be significantly higher.

The favourable price is also due to the fact that the house has waived the usual "ex-château" surcharge of 20 percent. The main reasons for the price reduction are the corona crisis, brexite and the high US tariffs.
