The Rheingau VDP winery Balthasar Ress plans to open a wine bar and vinotheque in Frankfurt's newly built, historic old town in August. In the "Grüne Linde" house on Hühnermarkt, the prime location of the restored city district near the cathedral, Ress wines and spirits will be available at farm-gate prices and from estates such as Miraval, Beaucastel or Pol Roger. Almost all wines can be tasted without obligation before purchase.

In addition, free delivery will be offered within Frankfurt without a minimum order quantity. For a service fee, the bottles can also be pre-cooled and served with matching glasses, Christian Ress explained the concept. In addition, high-quality ham, cheese and other dishes are served with the open wine bar. For the second wine bar from Balthasar Ress, the first step is now the interior construction.
