The VDP winery van Volxem is starting a wine project with the discounter Lidl. As reported by the "Weinwirtschaft", the stores will soon be stocking wines on the shelves nationwide under the label "Van Volxem & Friends handpicked". According to the report, however, they do not come from the renowned VDP company, but are produced by five wineries on the Moselle and Saar, with which Van Volxem owner Roman Niewodniczanski is a friend. In total, there are three lots with a volume of 150,000 litres. It is not yet known which wines will be offered at which prices.
