At the tasting weekend "SaarRieslingSommer" along the Saar, organized by Moselwein e.V. from 23 to 25 August, almost 50 wineries from the region, but also from the Palatinate, Franconia, the Ahr, the Moselle, Portugal, South Tyrol and Luxembourg will present their wines. Ten wineries will act as hosts, with two to five other wineries opening their bottles in each case. A shuttle bus commutes between the wineries according to the timetable.
The weekend begins with a menu from chef Lea Linster and colleagues on Friday at the Cantzheim Winery in Kanzem and ends on Sunday, 25 August from 7 pm with a party at Saarstein Castle in Serrig. There will also be other events at the wineries. The day ticket including shuttle bus cost 35 Euro per person, the two-day ticket 50 Euro.
