Due to strong demand from both international and local exhibitors, the organisers of ProWine China in Shanghai from 13 to 15 November 2018 are expecting exhibitor growth of around 15 percent compared to the previous year. The trade fair is also expected to attract around 20 percent more visitors from all regions of China. According to ProWine China the biggest wine fair she has ever organized.
Particularly because of the strong growth and the great variety of the Chinese wine market, it was not surprising that more and more exhibitors were requesting their exhibition space earlier and earlier. This year, South Africa has made a start. Once again, France was by far the largest country exhibitor. In addition, Australia, Chile, Portugal, Italy, Brazil, Spain, Austria and Germany plan to significantly expand their participation in ProWine China 2018. The major individual exhibitors this year include Les Grands Chais de France and the Union des Vignerons des Côtes du Rhône. Château Miraval, which was founded by Hollywood actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, is a renowned newcomer. Visitors can also expect a Champagne Lounge with various champagne houses as well as many master classes, tastings, seminars and discussions.
