The Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux (UGCB) has countered rumours that the traditional Primeur tasting week would be cancelled due to the outbreak of the Corona virus. Its president Ronan Laborde said today: "The UGBC confirms that the Primeur week will take place from 30 March to 2 April 2020" The association is extremely vigilant and is monitoring the situation very closely. "We have realistic hopes that we can meet all conditions to receive visitors in the safest way possible."
A French newspaper had previously reported that the UGCB had cancelled Primeur week.
