The prices of Bordeaux-Châteaux published with the Primeur campaign confirm the trend of partly massive price increases compared to 2017, mainly due to the partly very high ratings of the international wine critics. Pichon Comtesse from the Pauillac region has made the biggest price increase to date: based on Jane Anson's rating of 99 points, the Château is demanding a whopping 47 percent more than for the 2017 vintage, Cos d'Estournel is raising its price by 33 percent compared to 2017, and Château Léoville Las Cases 2018 is costing 25 percent more than last year. Compared to this trend, the price increase of La Mission Haut-Brion 2018 is moderate. Its price increases by only five percent.

Experts and buyers are now eagerly awaiting the prices of top châteaux such as Pétrus, Latour, Lafite and Mouton. They will follow in the coming days and weeks.
