With video tastings and digital wine events, the Pfalzwein e.V. wants to bring regional winegrowers together with wine lovers. Many businesses are currently relying on social networks to continue to present their wines, according to a statement by the regional wine promotion. For example, a live tasting format with sommelier Toni Askitis is to start soon to present the wines of the "Young Palatinate" to viewers. The sommelier is already known on the net under the name AskToni.

On 4 April, the Palatinate Wine Queen Anna-Maria Löffler will also launch an online format with the princesses Tamara Fränzle, Christina Fischer and Rosa Rommel. As #teampfalz, they present Palatinate wines with dishes prepared by local restaurateurs. The format can be seen in the online and social media channels of Pfalzwein as well as the wine sovereigns.

Also on 4 April, well-known Palatinate winemakers plan to host live wine tastings via cheerswith.me with a video conference. Interested vintners can register for free on the platform to offer their own live wine tastings.

In addition, there will soon be a Palatinate special on the RPR1 radio programme "Listen to Wine" with presenter Andreas Kunze. Wines and wineries will be presented, but also the challenges of winegrowers in times of the Corona crisis will be discussed.
