In Austria, wine tastings are permitted again from 15 May onwards under hygiene conditions. According to the regulation, no more than four adults and their underage children may sit at a table. Guests are also not obliged to wear mouth and nose protection. The minimum distance of one metre may be "undercut" by way of exception, but it must still be maintained to the neighbouring tables. Mouth and nose protection is obligatory for the service staff. In addition, free seating is not permitted, the tables must be reserved in advance. Group reservations for several tables at the same time may not be accepted.
