Marcel van der Benken is the new manager of the Graf von Schönborn winery in Eltville (Rheingau). He succeeds Christian Valk, who left the winery due to differences of opinion regarding the development of the business. This was reported by the trade magazine "Weinwirtschaft".
Van der Benken already worked as sales and export manager at Schönborn in the Rheingau from 2006 to 2013. He then moved to the Rheingau estates Baron Knyphausen and August Kesseler. Since March 2016 he has been in charge of the Staatlicher Hofkeller in Würzburg (Franconia).
