Peter Geil will head the Princely Castell's Domain Office in Castell (Franconia) from November. This was announced by Ferdinand Prince of Castell-Castell. Geil, until now deputy winery manager, will thus take over the position from Björn Probst, who will move to the management of the state winery Kloster Pforta in Bad Kösen (Saale-Unstrut).

Peter Geil grew up in a Rhine-Hessian family winery and, after training as a winemaker, studied viticulture in Geisenheim. After engagements abroad and as a technical operations manager at wineries in the Palatinate, Baden and Württemberg, he has been working at Weingut Castell since the end of 2016. He is supported by Katrin Oberländer as Sales Manager, Christian Frieß as First Cellar Master and Peter Hemberger as Field Manager.
