The champagne house Billecart-Salmon will be under the responsibility of a new managing director from 2019. Mathieu Roland-Billecart belongs to the seventh generation of the Champagne family and previously worked in London as a management consultant for real estate financing and investments. He is taking over from his cousin François Roland-Billecart, who has been managing the producer since 1992. The new boss has already served five years on the supervisory board of Billecart-Salmon. The seamless transition from one generation to the next is one of the most important success factors for the 200-year-old business, Billecart-Salmon announced.
