Château Miraval, owned by Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, produces a rosé champagne in cooperation with the owner-operated champagne house Pierre Péters. It is considered one of the most renowned rosé companies in Champagne, writes the "Wine Spectator". According to the report, Péters works with a production that is not very common in Champagne. Saignée of Pinot Meunieur is cuveted with Chardonnay. This has convinced the Perrin family from Châteuneuf, who are responsible for Miraval wine production, to take this unusual route. "We want to meet our quality standards for top rosé with Pierre Péters also for champagne", the winemaker in charge, Marc Perrin, told the "Wine Spectator", "we will build the only champagne house that produces exclusively rosé."
