For its bicentenary since 1818, the champagne house Billecart Salmon has presented a "Bicentenary Cuvée" in 1818 numbered magnum bottles. The champagne is a blend of eight Grand Crus from the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs with four vintages not mentioned. It consists of 92 percent Pinot Noir.

According to Billecart Salmon, the "Bicentenary Cuvée" should reflect the style of the house with which it became famous. The Magnums, which are sold worldwide, cost around 1560 euros per bottle.

The champagne house also presented its new cellar on its birthday. Under a wave-shaped ceiling, it offers space for 24 newly manufactured, large fuder barrels with a total capacity of 80 hl. According to Billecart Salmon, they were produced by the best tonneau series in France.
