The renowned sherry producer Lustau from Jerez (Spain) has introduced a sherry-based rosé vermouth. According to the producer, it consists of three different wines: a dry Fino sherry, a floral, sweet Moscatel and a fruity Tintilla de Rota wine. Fernando Pérez, Lustau's master blender, has added other aromas such as chamomile, vanilla and nutmeg. Each botanical maceration is carried out separately to obtain optimal aroma extraction.

According to Lustau, the new Vermut Rosé is characterised by a pink-orange colour and floral and herbal notes with fruity and spicy scents, as well as wild strawberry and orange blossom aromas with a nutty background. Lustau recommends his Vermouth Rosé together with tonic water. It is available in Germany for 19.90 euros per bottle.
