The South Korean electronics group LG presents a wine refrigerator at the International Consumer Electronics Fair (IFA) in Berlin, Germany, which works with speech recognition. The device from the ultra-premium line "Signature" has space for 65 wine bottles and offers multi-temperature control for red and white wines.
An automatic lift function opens the refrigerated drawers at the touch of a button and is designed to provide convenient access to the stored wines. Voice recognition allows the door to be opened or even just the interior light to be switched on to allow a view through the darkened glass front into the interior. According to LG, this is intended to save energy and avoid the incidence of sunlight.
