The British pop star Kylie Minogue has introduced her own French rosé. "Kylie" consists of 80 percent Carignan and 20 percent Cabernet Sauvignon and will initially be available in British Tesco supermarkets. The pop star came up with the idea when she and her manager liked to drink rosé to relax between sessions during the recordings of her 14th album "Golden", Minogue told the British "Drinks Business". She then met with distributor Paul Schaafsma from Benchmark Wines, who is also responsible for the "Invivo" wine line of American series star Sarah Jessica Parker.

He and Kylie Minogue tasted together the base wines from the South of France that make up the cuvée. According to the 52-year-old pop star's report "Impressed by the sensory qualities", Schaafsma was very impressed with the selection of the base wines: "She knew exactly what she wanted and liked," he said.

The Vin de France Rosé costs around ten euros in Great Britain. Over the summer, she also plans to introduce a 2019 Côtes de Provence Rosé from Grenache, Cinsault and Rolle, which Château des Anglades near St. Tropez is producing for her.

In the meantime, several stars have presented their own rosé wines. Among them are Kylie Minogue and Sarah Jessica Parker as well as the rapper Post Malone and Brad Pitt with Angelina Jolie.
