The Association of German Prädikat Wine Estates (VDP) and wineBANK have entered into a cooperation. VDP Managing Director Hilke Nagel moved into the official VDP cellar at the wineBANK Mainz with a selection of wines from the VDP vineyards. In the Private Members' Club for wine enthusiasts, club members can store their wines under optimal conditions and taste them at any time, either alone or with guests.
The cooperation brings the VDP members and the so-called wineBANKers closer together, according to a press release. In the future, a number of VDP wineries will present themselves in the Mainz VDP Cellar and hold regular tasting events in Mainz and at the seven other international wineBANK locations.
"The wineBANK Mainz is an architectural pearl on the Kupferberg in the middle of the Great Wine Capital. One compartment of the VDP cellar has now been stocked by us - now our member wineries have the opportunity to rent additional compartments in this exclusive space," says Hilke Nagel. "We will use the VDP cellar primarily for representative purposes when we receive guests in Mainz and want to offer them a special experience."
"The VDP was a partner of choice from the very beginning," says Christian Ress, founder and managing partner of wineBANK. "We offer the VDP wineries in Mainz and in every other location a very good platform to present themselves to our vinophile community. In addition to the VDP cellar at the wineBANK Mainz, the cooperation includes joint communication campaigns as well as special conditions for wineBANK memberships and VDP events.
