Jean-Michel Comme, technical director of the biodynamic Bordeaux Château Pontet-Canet, wants to leave the company after 31 years. According to a report in the regional daily Sud-Ouest, the 56-year-old wants to look after his own vineyard with his wife. Comme, together with the Tesseron family who own the estate, had introduced biodynamic methods since 1989, making the Cinquième Grand Cru estate one of the most important biodynamic Châteaux des Bordelais.
