The Australian wine critic James Halliday has 250 bottles of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti from his private cellar auctioned off. This was announced by the commissioned auction house Langton. Halliday bought all bottles directly from the cellar of the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. Among them are for example older and younger vintages Echezeaux, Grand Echezeaux, La Tache and Richebourg. Top bottle of the auction is a 1973 Romanée-Conti. The online auction of the wines ends on 28 June 2020.
