The well-known Gigondas winemaker Gabriel Meffre has expanded his business by eleven hectares of vineyards in the Cairanne area. He now has 90 hectares of vineyards in the Gigondas, Vacqueyras, Côtes de Rhône Villages Plan de Dieu and Côtes du Rhône regions. The new areas are spread over seven hectares in Cairanne, 1.5 hectares in Rasteau and 2.5 hectares in areas classified as Côtes du Rhône Villages. The grapes will be processed at the Domaine de Longue Toque near Cairanne, which is also owned by Meffre, starting with the next vintage.
