The Taittinger Champagne House has completed a generational change. On 31 December 2019, the long-standing president Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger will hand over the responsibility to his daughter Vitalie. Her brother Clovis will support her in her work as General Manager and member of the Management Committee. According to the company, the current General Manager Damien le Sueur will coordinate the work in the vineyards, production, sales and controlling.
The 66-year-old company boss is a nephew of the Taittinger founder and has been active as managing director since 2006, after he bought back the Chamapagnerhaus, which had fallen into crisis due to inheritance disputes, from the Starwood stock corporation for 660 million euros in 2005.
