Sparkling wine producer Geldermann presents its new gastronomy line "Les Grands" at Prowein. It includes three sparkling wines in noble which have been specially designed to meet the needs of the upscale gastronomy. "The most important difference to our LEH line 'Les Premiers' is the twice as long maturing time", explains Chef de Cave Marc Gauchey. The new varieties Grand Brut, Grand Rosé and Carte Blanche thus mature for two years in the over 600-year-old cellars in Breisach's Schlossberg.

The Grand Brut was cuvéed from the grape varieties Pineau de Loire, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The Grand Rosé combines Pineau de Loire, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Ugni Blanc to create a sparkling wine with a forest berry aroma and finely integrated acidity. The Carte Blanche is a another composition from the grape varieties of the Grand Rosé. With this, Geldermann wants to tap into further customer potential in the upscale gastronomy sector as well as in bars with a corresponding clientele, in addition to business with existing customers.
