The winegrowers' association "White Burgundy Charter" has organised the first German Pinot Blanc Summit in Leimen (Baden) for Saturday, 13 July 2019. It wants to create "an appropriate stage for the Pinot Blanc in Germany". The program includes a symposium, a master class and a large winemaker presentation. The Pinot Blanc Summit 2019 will open on Friday evening with a "Best Friends" evening at the Heitlinger Winery in Tiefenbach.
On Saturday the symposium will take place at the Portlandforum in Leimen. After the welcome by the patron, the Baden-Württemberg Minister for Rural Areas and Consumer Protection, Peter Hauk, there will be a panel discussion and various expert lectures.
From 15 to 21 o'clock, the Pinot Blanc presentation will open with around 90 wine growers. Among the exhibitors "from the best Pinot Blanc regions in the world" there are also many renowned German producers. Tickets cost 22 euros in advance and 29 euros at the box office.
