The well-known blogger and operations manager of the Rheingau winery Baltahar Ress, Dirk Würtz, moved to Tocos Beteiligung GmbH of the Hawesko majority shareholder Detlev Meyer on 15 August. There, Würtz has taken over the responsibility for the "Business Development & Innovation Wine" division. In addition, he is now shareholder of the VDP vineyard St. Antony in Nierstein, which is also owned by Detlev Meyer.
"This marks the end of one of the most beautiful phases of my life here in the Rheingau. I will remain deeply and friendly with the Ress family and my 'boys'. At the same time, I am extremely looking forward to my new task", Würtz commented on his change. However, he will continue to work for Balthasar Ress as a consultant. His current deputy Oliver Schmid will take over the position of Operations Manager.
