During a break-in in the wine cellar of the renowned star restaurant "Formel B" in Copenhagen a few days ago, rare Burgundies worth almost 200,000 euros were stolen. During the night, a hole was broken into the wall of the wine cellar and almost 60 bottles were deliberately stolen, the restaurant owner Rune Amgild Jochumsen told the "Decanter". The stolen goods include several bottles of Romanée-Conti 2014, each worth about 16,000 euros. Also stolen were Romanée-St-Vivant Grand Cru 2014 from Domaine Leroy and La Romanée Grand Cru 2017 from Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair.

In recent times, thieves have broken into wine storerooms several times and deliberately stolen top Burgundy and other very expensive top wines, for example from the Fritz Keller winery on the Kaiserstuhl, Bernard Ravet's starred restaurant L'Ermitage on Lake Geneva and top restaurants in Paris.
