The German Wine Institute (DWI) has launched the worldwide campaign "Rieslings Weeks"-for wine trade and gastronomy in Japan. For the first time, the series of events extends over a period of five months. The Riesling Weeks are available in 13 countries and are tailored to the different requirements of the markets, the DWI announced. For this reason, they will take place at individual times and with different durations.
The Riesling Week in Poland lasted eight days, while the events in the USA were spread over three months under the generic term "Wine Craft". In Japan, the events of the "German Wine Weeks" even took place over five months. In Canada, China, Russia and Great Britain, the wine presentations run for a moment as part of "31 Days of German Riesling".
