A Chinese entrepreneur in the media, telecom and technology sector has bought the Château de Cadillac-en-Fronsadais in the Bordelais under the alias "Mr Chen". The winery, with eight hectares of vineyards, was only founded and developed in 2004 by the Australian Serisier family. It is located northwest of Libourne in Fronsac. Château Meillac in Saint-Romain-la-Virvée with twelve hectares of vineyards now belongs to it. The wines are classified as Bordeaux Superieur.

Nothing has been revealed about the purchase price and the name of the Chinese buyer. He is said to have made contact via the branch of the Chrstie's auction house in China. The takeover is the latest in a now long series of investments by Chinese businessmen in second and third row Bordeaux Château.
