The world-famous Bordeaux top winery Château Latour will present its first Grand Vin in eight years on March 19 with the 2012 vintage. The second wine Les Forts de Latour from the 2014 vintage will also be on sale, while the 2011 vintage was the last wine offered en primeur by Château 2012. The owners had decided at that time not to release the wines for sale until they were suitable.
In previous years, they had therefore put older vintages on the market in combination with the second wine. Thus, for example, the 2007 vintage was newly offered in 2016. The prices for Latour 2012 are not yet known, but experts suspect a prudent pricing, because 2012 is not yet considered a great vintage.
