The renowned Bordeaux Château Cantenac Brown is apparently about to be sold. As the "Decanter" reports, Tristan Le Lous, French agronomist and owner of the medical technology group Urgo, has been negotiating for some time with the owner of the estate, Simon Halabi, who has owned the company since 2006. The property developer had taken over the business from Axa Insurance.

According to "Decanter", according to a statement by Le Lous, only financial details of the takeover are currently being worked on. Nothing is known about the purchase price. If the Margaux vineyard, classified as "Troisieme Cru", with 49 hectares of vineyards, is sold, the attention in the Bordelais is likely to be very high. Because classified estates are only very rarely for sale in the Margaux region.
