The champagne house Infinite Eight from Ville-Dommange near Reims has presented its 2008 "Butterfly Lovers" cuvée, a white bottle which, at an optimal temperature of between eight and ten degrees, produces a pink design with butterflies and notes. The unusual concept was created in collaboration with the French food packaging manufacturer Distripac. The bottle is covered with a plastic film with a temperature-sensitive surface that reacts to a temperature of ten degrees or colder. Only when it is reached does it show the pink graphic design.

Champagne Infinite Eight is run by winemaker Nicolas Le Tixerant and designer Frank Leroux. Le Tixerant's grandfather was a partner in the champagne house Edmond Roussin, his father Philippe worked as communications director for the CIVC (Comité Interprofessionnel du vin de Champagne).
