Hervé Grandeau, president of the "Fédération des Grands Vins de Bordeaux" and owner of Château Lauduc, and his brother Régis Grandeau have been charged by the French public prosecutor's office with fraud, forgery and corruption. The investigations relate to 5,900 hectolitres of wine with a value of 1.37 million euros in 2010 and 2014 in transactions by their companies SCEA Vignobles Grandeau and SARL Maison Grandeau Lauduc. The prosecution is demanding six-figure fines and three to six months' imprisonment for the two accused. Further details of the charges are not yet known.
