The Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux (UGCB) and the Syndicat des Négociants en Vin de Bordeaux are working on a concept for tasting the 2019 Bordeaux vintage after the end of the lockdown. The organisations have announced this in a press release. Although the situation does not yet allow for any concrete dates to be set, they wanted to demonstrate their determination to present the vintage before the end of the year. "We remain very cautious, but the prospect of possible loosening allows us to consider a presentation before the end of the summer," they write. To this end, the experts are currently developing "a pragmatic concept to respect distance rules and guarantee the health of visitors".
