Amazon offers its own wine and spirits brand "Compass Road" for the first time in Germany. Six of the label's wines have been online for a few days now, but they are only available in boxes of six. They each cost 19.99 euros. The only wines on offer are varietal wines from the 2018 vintage, with no producer or bottler details. Currently available are Rosé, Chardonnay and Merlot from France (Vin de France), Dornfelder and Riesling (quality wine) from Rheinhessen and Pinot Grigio from the DOC Garda. According to "Weinwirtschaft" they have been bottled by the large winery F.W. Langguth Erben. In a press release from Amazon it says: "The offer will be extended in the course of time."
