The Board of Directors of the Italian DOC Bolgheri (Tuscany) has elected Albiera Antinori as its new President. She is the Vice President of her well-known wine company Marchesi Antinori. Priscilla Incisa della Rocchetta from the Sassicaia-Tenuta San Guido and Cinzia Merli from the Le Macchiole winery were appointed as her deputies.
On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the DOC this year, she reported the best sales figures of the Tuscan production areas. According to the report, sales in 2018 will increase by 16 percent compared to 2017, and prices will rise by eleven percent.
